MF-107S FreqBox 1.3.0

The MF-107S Freqbox is a re-invention of Moog Music’s classic Moogerfooger MF-107S analog effects pedal.

The MF-107 Freqbox, originally introduced in 2007, featured various modular synth functions including a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) capable of variable waveshape adjustments, hard syncing, and frequency modulation by the audio input. It also included an envelope follower that enabled the input signal dynamics to modulate the VCO frequency. Moreover, the amplitude of the VCO was influenced by the input signal dynamics, and the VCO could be blended with the audio input. Drawing inspiration from the original Moog modular synthesizers, the MF-107 was designed to process, modulate, and experiment with inputs ranging from guitar, voice, synthesizer to diverse audio sources.

The MF-107 Freqbox has been faithfully recreated in the form of the MF-107S, capturing not just the jagged, experimental sounds of its predecessor but also how its parameters interplay organically to deliver a musical playing experience.

The MF-107S is an AUv3 effects plug-in that necessitates a compatible host or DAW for operation.
